We are now accepting abstracts for the ABCT SIG poster session. ABCT has unfortunately moved up the timeline for these and will need information about what abstracts are accepted sooner than we anticipated so we have a quick turnaround needed. Abstracts are due by August 14th.
We received an email today notifying us that the SIG poster session will be in a virtual format, although ABCT has not made a final decision on the format of the full conference. The good news is that this means you don't have to attend in person to submit a poster for the SIG poster session. Here is a link to what information is available on the website, although it does not yet contain information about format for the virtual session: https://www.abct.org/conv2020/index.cfm?mn=18&fn=SIG_Poster
To submit an abstract, email us at abctsgmsig@gmail.com with the following information, in a Word document:
We would especially like to encourage submissions about the experiences of sexual and gender minorities who are Black, Indigenous, or other People of Color (BIPOC), including on topics such as: experiences of racism, racial disparities within LGBTQ+ communities, or strengths-based research with LGBTQ+ BIPOC.
Also, we need help reviewing abstracts! If you’re willing to help, please let me know (abctsgmsig@gmail.com).
